The two candidates with the highest number of votes will serve for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2026 and expiring on June 30, 2029. The candidate with the lowest number of votes will serve for a two-year term commencing July 1, 2026, and expiring on June 30, 2028.

Board of Education Petitions for the 2026-2027 School
There are three vacating seats on the Board of Education beginning July 2026 (two three-year term commencing July 1, 2026, and expiring on June 30, 2029 and one two-year term commencing July 1, 2026, and expiring on June 30, 2028). Petitions nominating candidates for a three year term shall be filed with the Clerk of Milford Central School no later than Monday, April 20, 2026, before 5:00 p.m. Each petition shall be directed to the Clerk of the District and shall be signed by at least twenty-five qualified voters of the District and must state the name and residence of the candidate.
